PAPANICHOLAS COFFEE HEADQUARTERS FINDS HOME IN NAPERVILLE

Naperville, Ill., August 12, 2019 — Naperville is now home to the headquarters of Premium PapaNicholas Coffee. The coffee manufacturer acquired the 1620 Frontenac Road building and will bring its corporate offices and production to the Naperville facility. The building measures 65,090 square feet.

Founded by Nicholas A. Papanicholas in 1982, in his family’s garage in the western suburbs of Chicago, the PapaNicholas Coffee Company is still family-owned and operated. PapaNicholas distributes more than fifty varieties of premium whole bean and ground coffees nationwide. Each year the company sells more than five million pounds of premium coffee through retail, food service, office coffee service and fundraising, and is the #1 retail premium packaged coffee company in the Chicagoland area for over twenty years.

“Naperville is honored to be the headquarters for the world-famous Premium PapaNicholas Coffee,” said Mayor Steve Chirico. “The company is family-owned, which is a perfect fit with Naperville’s family-friendly community character. We look forward to welcoming the PapaNicholas team to Naperville.”

“It is always a pleasure working with PapaNicholas’ broker, Michael Marconi, senior executive vice president at Transwestern. His coordination with the Naperville Development Partnership (NDP) and the city’s Transportation, Engineering and Development (TED) team ensured a seamless transaction for his client and smooth process for all involved in the transaction,” said Christine Jeffries at the Naperville Development Partnership. “Admittedly, I’m a huge fan of PapaNicholas’ coffee, so this makes my purchases of their great coffee all the more pleasant.”

The Naperville Development Partnership is a public/private organization whose mission is to enhance the economic vitality of the City of Naperville. Naperville is located 30 miles west of Chicago, is 41 square miles and has a population of 150,000.
