The website Niche.com released their list of the top public elementary and middle schools in Illinois for 2017 and several Naperville schools are in the top ten of each category.

Naperville public elementary schools took 7 spots out of the top ten. Topping the list was Meadow Glens Elementary School. Other Naperville elementary schools cracking the top ten include; Naper Elementary School (2), River Woods Elementary School (5), Steeple Run Elementary School (6), Highlands Elementary School (7), White Eagle Elementary School (9), and Danielle-Joy Peterson Elementary School (10).

Naperville middle elementary schools took 2 spots out of the top ten. Highest on the list at number 2 is Scullen Middle School. Other Naperville middle schools cracking the top ten include; Gordon Gregory Middle School (3), Madison Junior High School (4), Thayer J. Hill Middle School (5), Clifford Crone Middle School (9), and Jefferson Junior High School (10).
